8 The Moon is new.

12 Capella shines to the upper right of  the Moon; Alderbaran is closer on the lower left; to the lower right of the Moon is Pleiades.

14 To the upper right of the moon is Saturn; Castor and Pollux are to the upper right of Saturn.

16 The Moon is high in the Southwest; to the lower right are Caster and Pollux; the brighter Saturn is slightly to the right of the twins; Procyon is well below the Moon. (The Moon is at apogee.)

23 Spica can be seen between the Moon and Jupiter.

24 The Moon is full before sunrise (Milk Moon). During early morning, as the Moon travels through the edge of Earth's shadow, a very slight penumberal lunar eclipse is visible to us between 4:25 to 5:25 a.m. (peak at 4:55) CDST.
 

26 As dawn approaches look for Mercury due east just above the horizon.

27 Anteres, in the constellation Scorpio, is to the right to upper right of the Moon.

29 The Moon is at perigee.
